Why I am at MATC?

I spoke with my high school counselor about what I should do next and was recommended to MATC because it will jump start my career. I had a teacher who is also a professor here at MATC and he said I should start here because it'll save me money and it will offer opportunities. Last semester of high school I started taking networking classes and spoke with my networking teacher about advancing in the field. They told me to join the IT field and continue (knowing I will be in school for a long time). After talking with them for months I decided to enroll here.

Why I chose this field?

 I originally chose to be in the IT Support program and was recommended by one of my professors to switch to IT Networking after we had a discussion about my plans for the future. They told me that switching to networking program will provide me with more opportunities.

What are my plans for the future?

I plan to continue school to get a bachelor's degree in computer science. After finishing school I plan to get certifications for quite a few things related to IT and hopefully get a job working as a network manager for a major company. Also, I would like to improve my programming skills more and learn to code, as a hobby.
